"The #Louvre in #Paris is hosting some of #Ukraine’s most treasured works of art that were secretly evacuated from #Kyiv to shield them from the war. I've spent years watching all of the big "liberal" media outlets kowtow to TERFs / GCs / transphobes and give them massive platforms to spread their conspiracy theories and moral panic bullshit and openly discuss my extermination as part of "the trans question."

What do you think that does to us, day in, day out?

What am I saying. Most people don't even care.

Reddit's CEO keeps making inapt, inept, and ignorant analogies to describe its users -- especially the moderators, volunteers who have spent countless hours making the site's communities so valuable.

Here's an accurate analogy: Reddit regards these people as replaceable cogs in a machine owned and absolutely controlled by the company.

I won't use Reddit again unless the top management, and its attitudes, are replaced -- with a genuine community focus.

Meanwhile, I'm finding alternatives.

A breakthrough came in November 1944 when the first successful blue baby surgery took place, with Vivien Thomas providing guidance to Dr. Blalock during the operation. This landmark procedure garnered global attention and forever altered the course of medical history. Despite the worldwide acclaim, Vivien Thomas received no formal recognition for his contributions.

Vivien Thomas's triumphed over obstacles imposed by a segregated society. Despite lacking formal medical education, he pioneered techniques & devised instruments that have shaped modern heart surgery as we know it today. Across the globe, skilled surgeons who trained under Vivien Thomas's guidance are carrying out critical life-saving procedures in operating rooms everywhere.

Good night my dear friends! ❤️

should we all just go back to irc and call it a day?

People who can't distinguish between etymology and entomology bug me in ways I cannot put into words.

President Carter, now in his last days, home to be with his family as he passes, once personally saved Ottawa from a Nuclear Disaster, at risk, and cost, to his life, suffering from radiation poisoning all his life.

Canada had a Nuclear Accident in the 50s, asked the US for help, Lieutenant Jimmy Carter lead a team out of NY.

The future President Carter, had his team lower him into the reactor.

I had no idea

I have no idea why this isn't widely known.

instead of content workers... it would save companies the most money if they replaced their CEOs with AI. just a thought.
