I am 🇵🇱, I lived in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 for 17 years and now moved to 🇫🇮, mostly because Brexit sucks.

Studied physics and astronomy in Wrocław, but graduated in Central and Eastern European studies from Glasgow University (dissertation on Polish rock in the 1980s).

Freelance journalist for nearly 20 years, a podcaster for 2 and I also drive trucks and enjoy it.

@timkmak I went ahead and signed up for the newsletter that Tim and his crew put together on the #war in #Ukraine because I often don't go back through my toot stream to read stuff on 🐘 that I miss when I'm not on the app or website.

Interestingly I've had the opposite experience to Tim. If anything, the amount of interactions I'm having has gone up significantly on 🐘 since 🧵🧵 started. Lots of new folks coming onto 🐘 and making it fun and thought provoking.

@timkmak I would say that copy and paste is your friend with a note on each post that engagement is limited due to being in #Ukraine in a war zone.

@DataDrivenMD might know some tips to help. He is technically brilliant and an excellent individual.
