We have an oil and gas reservoir/ refinery here in Greensboro, NC which is on a major thoroughfare that I often have to pass on the way to many places around town.

The air around this facility is positively thick with petroleum and not only smells horrible but makes both me and my pooch cough if we don’t roll up the windows when we pass by. How ANYONE can work there is beyond me.

Cats usually stick with whatever they first learn works for them, so the feral cats can have some odd and charming coping skills and behaviors.

Fred and George were feral kittens @drememynd captured from under a mobile home. George has remained worried/cautious of human behavior. Fred was always totally friendly and trusting of every human even vets. Here's George and Fred when they were young.
