Now this car's a winner.

i have it running linux now and i'm surprised how thoroughly it works

like this is weird boutique hardware and they have like 99% of it functioning, even undocking

cold boot to desktop is something like 15s too which is redonks

Here's what's going to happen.

Places are going to federate with Facebook, it's going to go terribly because it's Facebook, and the same white guys that are advocating for it are going to come up with some longwinded apology about how they were wrong and their bullshit put thousands of people in danger and fucked up many a decent instance.

They will be praised as LEADERS while I sit over here being harassed by people who say blocking a notorious bad actor on the web is destroying the fedi, struggling for funding to complete projects that actually center the needs of human beings rather than algorithms that productive our attention.

Because that's how racism works.

"Why don't people want to pay for streaming anymore?" cry the companies who split streaming into 40 different services that keep increasing in cost while randomly removing content without warning, and shoving ads into our paid services.

Yup, sure is a mystery. A real head scratcher.

"The Dobbs decision was an earthquake politically and ethically — and anybody who thinks it's going away, hasn't met very many women."

I took a break from listening to Turkish and have a big smile on my face. If Laura Loomer promises never to vote again if Trump is off the ballot AND she promises to dissuade millions of other Republicans from voting, well, hot dang, girl! I will send you a free bona fide signed photo of OllieTheDog with his tongue hanging out and give you permission to share it with your millions and millions of followers. You will deserve a big fat reward and what better than an Ollie pinup photo? 😀 😇 😂

Keeping it short: I'm Shimei, I'm a disabled artist+webmaster.

I make fanart mostly about Pokemon. I like cats, video games, music (ask me about it), men and snacks.

My pronouns are it/its. I am otherkin and can get explicit with my non-human nature.

Profile open to follow by anyone 18+. Minors will be booted out, but okay to interact with SFW posts.

Be gentle with me due to my RSD.

Dear Internet,

I am looking for people to follow in the fediverse who are writing about how new potentially more pro-consumer laws like the European Digital Markets Act are making it easier to buy DRM free e-books, avoid being locked into a single company or service, and so on.

I have read Chokepoint Capitalism by @pluralistic, and I follow his writing semi- obsessively.

Are there any people you follow for this kind of analysis?

Specialist Newsletters/blog recommendations are totally 👍 too.

When #Russia attacks dozens of cities they think it's "okay" but when #Ukraine strikes back they want an international investigation?

Don't make me laugh.. from sadness

Sorry but what a crap country has Russia become, and with that I mean it's whole "government" or maffia as one can call it

Russia is nothing more then an aggressor that takes whatever it wants and it should be stopped at all costs!

Putler's reign of destruction should be over rather sooner than later

Russia complaining that one of it's own cities has suffered "indiscriminate killing", as if human life is valued in that nihilistic and dying culture.
It's the sort of fake victimhood shit that Fascist nations come out with.

my brain today...

Kein aktuelles Foto zum #caturday weil Oscar sich heute verschlumpft hat.
Hier vom September:

Maisy is demonstrating "how to cat" this #Caturday. A moneybox of Felix the Cat looks on, looking suitably impressed.
