I literally just learned you can add notes to people! Similar to how you can label other contacts and pieces of information this is super useful if you're forgetful like me.
Literally, when you click someone's profile you can just `Click to add note` and it saves it. Seems simple, but I literally never even considered it until someone mentioned how useful it was.
If you already knew it? Awesome! If you didn't? Well, now you can pretend you did. I promise I won't tell.
What is the current tally, is there anyone (else) remaining who has managed to avoid #Covid19 so far (to the best of their knowledge, obvs)?

So when I see these assholes dreaming of getting married at some plantation and getting all dolled up in old-fashioned Southern dresses and regalia -- it's like people wanting to get married at Auschwitz while dressed up as Nazis to me. It's fucked up.
“Teaching children about great men enforced a sense of a great nation, a version of history which could be distributed along the length and breadth of vast empires. Controlling access to the past controls populations in the present, and determining who writes history can affect thought and behaviour. Famously the Nazis created a version of German history which cherry-picked and repackaged information so as to benefit the regime's agenda."

At least one person will think "gahlee, I've gotta read more books!" today. Free yourself and try audiobooks. Our attention spans have been altered. No tin foil.
My Grandmother's Hands by #somaticabolitionist Resmaa Menakem was recommended to me by the nicest white lady who wanted to do a book study on it with Black people. When I asked her why she didn't want to do one with her closer community, she teared up and said she couldn't.
Understanding this share is why Menakem's book on embodied racism is important. I know I could give a richer summary, but Google needs to earn its keep.

I'm usually hesitant to share too much about my son, Ripley, or his situation but our situation changed a bit last week. Ripley is about 18 months old and we've known since he was born that he would need a #KidneyTransplant once he was big enough. Until last week, our plan was for him to get one of mine. Unfortunately, I was disqualified, so we're on the hunt for a kidney! If you or someone you know would have any interest in being screened, you can visit https://ripley.love (1/2)
Oh, man. This comic — from 1993 — could NOT be more relevant today. As usual, Bill Watterson hits it out of the park.

Bear in mind that, while I may "like" your "toot", about a person, event or particular topic, if it links to the "bird-site" I will no longer boost and inadvertently contribute to their grift. Everyone has a choice and a part to play when crimes go unpunished.
