I’m pretty anti #TikTok but apparently the bill working through Congress to pave the way to ban it in the United States includes a provision that would jail people up to 20 years and find them up to $1 million for using a VPN to access banned apps.

This and the absolutely asinine questioning of the CEO by Congress has made me very uninterested in a national ban.
