I'm not Tutanota, but I'll try answering anyway. The right to privacy implies the right to use strong encryption. If you shout on the street, you probably did so voluntarily with the intent to be heard by those nearby, but that doesn't mean they should have free reign to secretly record you and share it with others. Privacy and free speech are alike in that they are safeguards against tyranny and coercion.
To the extent that the distinction between "positive" and "negative" rights is meaningful here, I would say that privacy is perhaps more often a negative right than a positive right.
It's possible that our apparent disagreement comes from us using the words "privacy" and/or "rights" differently from each other. I agree that tools like encryption are important. I also agree that there is some measure of personal responsibility in safeguarding privacy, but it's important to remember that failing to take the absolute most extreme measures ought not to be a blank check for abuse.

Read section 10.4 carefully - it allows Zoom to "share" Customer Content, and those with whom it is shared can use it for "machine learning" and "artificial intelligence". Zoom's carefully-worded promise at the bottom is moot if the training can be done with third parties' AI models instead.

Just saw that #Etsy has had three articles about how they mistreat their sellers in as many days. As an independent #artist myself, I've been struggling to find purchase (and purchasers) on the platform, which is why I started building #magpiemarket - a #federated Etsy-alternative. These articles just go to show how much we need a new space that helps #artists rather than uses them. Please #boost this to help us spread the word.

HP are such scammers
I posted about this very cheap printer before, which strongly suggests that there is No USB, only Wifi. When I first got it I figured out how to print over the network without using the app they try to bully you into downloading.
It turns out it's even easier to print, just use the USB port they try to pretend isn't there!
No company is going to rewrite their firmware to remove the USB stack. It's even more expensive to redesign the hardware to get rid of the USB port physically. They opted for the cheapest option, a little sticker.
They are just trying to store everyone's documents in their stupid cloud service that some teenage extortion group is going to break into and leak one day. Don't give them your data.

It depends very much on what they mean by "libertarian".
"Socially-progressive unregulated capitalism" is indeed an oxymoron, but using "libertarianism" to mean "unregulated capitalism" is a U.S. thing, where the right co-opted the term from the left in the 1950s.
In most of the world, "libertarian" is a left-wing term meaning "anti-authoritarian". For example, libertarian socialists are anti-authoritarian and anti-capitalist, which isn't an oxymoron at all.
Some people in the U.S. who self-identify as "socially progressive libertarians" might be working to reclaim the term for the left. To tell the difference, check whether they oppose or support corporate capitalism.

One thing I like about this perspective ( https://engineering.appfolio.com/appfolio-engineering/2018/4/23/ruby-haskell-culture-is-what-you-dont-say ) is that it simultaneously hits two related points.
1. What assumptions are you making about the people who are in the room?
2. What assumptions are you making about the people who _aren't_ in the room?
How often will these assumptions be encoded in what isn't said as opposed to what is said? What rules are largely just "known" or, relatedly, how do people view those who aren't in "their circle"?
