Smallpox twins photo showing the protection of vaccination
@White_Bite see also the classic "smallpox twins" photo. They were not twins but classmates, one vaccinated and one unvaccinated. You can see both were infected but the vaccinated boy had far less severe illness.
@ParkinJim definitely agree to the fact that vaccines are protective as as shown in the photo. They will prevent disease severity, but they can't fully protect infection. It's worrying that people think vaccines are silver bullets though. Makes them complacent and when they do get infected, they thing vaccine don't work. But that's awfully wrong.
