A truly magical day! I have found out. How to turn off the profanity filter In Microsoft Word 365.
For those who are unaware of the problem, if you try to dictate. “fucking”, “cunt” or a wide variety of other words that are sometimes regarded as profane, Microsoft Word 365 replaces them with a row of asterisks, whether you like it or not.
I have also discovered that the Microsoft Word 365 auto-punctuation system is utterly fucking useless. It contrives to put the wrong punctuation where you wouldn't put it anyway if you had a brain and capitalise things right, left and centre where they shouldn't be; in all a complete fucking abortion!

I've not had the profanity blocking problem, but that punctuation thing drives me up the wall - the times I've had ill altered to I'll, for instance.

Autocorrect (!) has a habit of changing words in the split second between proof reading and pressing in post.
I just had the word tacit changed to racist in one email FFS.

I had no idea, thanks - must plough through settings.
