Sunak's new plans to stop refugees claiming asylum in the U.K. and deport them instead has one small problem. It would be impossible to do this in 99% of all cases. They would be stuck in detention centres indefinitely. Also, there's no capacity left in the detention centres.
This is the problem. Under Sunak's new asylum plan, refugees wouldn't be able to claim asylum, but they wouldn't be able to be deported. They're stuck in permanent limbo.
And there's no room left in permanent limbo.

Albania may deign to take their own nationals but no one else and Rwanda will take anyone they are paid to take!
