oh my goodness... I've never before been so utterly convinced of the lunacy and waste of money Royalty causes.
Philips funeral £££, then the Queens jubilee £££, then her funeral £££, then this nonsense ££££££. Millions of £s that should be paying nurses wages, better housing, schools, aged care, hospitals, police overhaul... the list is endless.
Instead, a lot of ppl poncing about in outrageously silly dress-ups, all bc a bloke wants to commune with a spirit that supposedly calls to him and nobody else, to be ruler...
I also didn't realise that the whole ceremony was basically and advertising campaign about god and Christianity. Putting all those hats rods swords cloaks and an orb on him was just a momentary sideline for 20mins.
I didn't swear allegiance.
Royalty has done SOOOO much evil over the centuries and for what? So the whole thing continues, without apology, sapping us of money while they "work hard serving us"? Waving and shaking hands and visiting factories doesn't "serve" me or nurses or ppl suffering without food/ heating.
The while thing: outdated, useless and despicable.
