Why does anyone chose nuclear spending over solar home installs? So money goes to rich people, not us.

So economic control increases, and economic independence, ours, decreases.

So coercive economic power stays in a few hands, not spread out over many hands.

So security "requirements" include treating your population as terrorists, and not equal members of the economy and society.

Install solar on every roof, home, school, enterprise.

Well, there is the fact that solar only produces power during the hours of daylight which can be pretty short in the far north in winter. Likewise with wind power - no wind no power!

@Paulos_the_fog

There are maps you can get showing amounts of solar energy avaiable to collect, and it does vary, you can see below Saskatchewan has the lagest average total solar energy hitting the ground, with 1330 kWh/kW/yr

Alberta is next with a rating of 1276 kWh/kW/yr

But here is the thing, the WORST Province is Newfoundland and Labarador with 949 kWh/kW/yr, just 16% off the Canadian average of 1133.

16% more solar panals in you calculation, not no sun, 16% less.

@kevinrns

Wow - you get that much daylight in the middle of the night - I'm staggered!

@Paulos_the_fog

On wind there is wind from North to south, east to west, and its brilliant.

But member we're building a replacement, so 25 billion for one pipeline becomes hundreds of thousands of miles of grids, interconnects and batteries.

SW Australia had brown outs all year long, dangerous ones. Battery system set up, hardly even hundreds of millions, now, no brownouts.
