Call me old-fashioned, but delivery people could TRY KNOCKING, instead of flicking the door with a feather and running away immediately.
Funny how leaving a parcel on the street goes missing. 🙄

It's not just the UK - friends of mine in Belgium have terrible trouble with just exactly that problem. In rural Luxembourg where I live, you can safely leave stuff on the doorstep with almost zero chance that it will be stolen and only one delivery service regularly fails to ring the doorbell!
@Paulos_the_fog @BintyMcFrazzles Haha, how random to find someone living in Lux in the replies to someone from the UK. 😄
Couriers don’t ring cuz of time pressure tho, right? Cuz companies use cheap delivery firms cuz people expect free delivery.
OBVIOUSLY what we all need is Amazon Ring™️ doorbells everywhere! 😬
We build walls where there need be none! No one in the US would be surprised to receive out of state replies but the British mentality is one of hard borders rather than of unity in variety!
It's a shame as Europe (and the EU) is such a wonderful place - I can go from the north west of France to the southernmost tip of Spain of Italy and from the far west of France to the Russian border without ever going through (or even seeing) a customs post!
Ahhhh whereabouts in Lux do you live?
I'm in Buschdorf lost in the countryside (near Mersch)
