The media is finally starting to report Trump’s statements for what they are: Fascist. He’s using Hitler’s own words about “vermin” and immigrants “poisoning the blood” of Americans. He’s calling for mass detention of migrants and threatening to come after his political enemies and seek retribution if re-elected. He must never be. America’s future is on the line. We all must do our part and vote.
The truly ridiculous thing is that the USA can't do without economic migrants any more than can the UK. Immigrants in the USA do the arduous crop harvesting on farms, the cleaning and all the other jobs America needs done but that Americans themselves don't want to do - just like the UK!
Since britain let the EU, there are not enough people to pick fruit and veg on farms - produce is rotting in the fields, there are 10s of 1000s of vacancies in care homes for the elderly, in nursing, for truck drivers and in 100s of other areas of British economy. Those were jobs that were formerly done by temporary or permanent immigrants from the EU but most have now left never to return.
Hypocrisy doesn't even begin to cover it when trump's hotels and golf courses employ significant numbers of illegal immigrants in lowly positions in order to enhance their profits!
