Interview: Israel is actively destroying the evidence of its genocide in Gaza.
In a scale of "destruction not seen anywhere else", Israel intends to "erase all traces of Palestinian life... a continuation of its crimes".

Investigation: A covert influence campaign, likely from Israel, is flooding social media with racist, anti-Muslim, anti-migrant & anti-Qatar propaganda across Europe, Lebanon & the US".

It astounds me how completely brain-dead the average person in the street is!
Expensive suits and a 10ft long red tie is the trump uniform and he is possibly the world's greatest fashion anti-icon! Nobody in their right minds wants to dress like that demented, obese, orange, paedophile rapist.
The tie has now gone the way of the 3 piece suit, the bowler hat, indeed all traditional styles of hat. Bloody good riddance!
It all rather reminds me of the days in the 1990s when I was working at British Airways. Senior management had just moved into their new headquarters at Waterside and the CEO had issued a new dress code. Casual dress was the thing at the new HQ! However, it was ridiculously easy to pick out the managers who wanted to climb the greasy management pole at Waterside as they were the only ones wearing a suit, collar and tie whereas the executives who had already 'made-it' were swinging around a extremely stylish casual-wear.
Yes - I read a book about Musk and in particular about the rise of Tesla. It was quite an eye-opener!
Not a polymath at all, more of a conman and rip-off artist!
Ah yes, but being the least, tiniest bit concerned about the millions who may die from the abolition of USAid whould be empathetic and c**twit musk says that's a very bad thing!
Interview: New documentary "Musk"
Musk has crafted an image of a 'polymath' solving the world’s most pressing problems...
but he's really a "ruthless businessman willing to do whatever it takes to succeed", including conning the US govt into supporting his companies.
"Musk has amassed unprecedented power in business, technology & politics" via SpaceX, Tesla, X, DOGE, etc. 14m deaths are likely by 2030 from DOGE cuts to USAID.
Oh brilliant - to see the boot on the other foot!
It's long overdue time someone hit back at ICE's disgusting murderous hoodlums!

@martinvermeer @davidallengreen
Could congress not legislate that the orange räpist paedophile actually won the Nobel Peace Prize that no one in their right minds would ever award him?
@davidallengreen I've long thought that the government are missing a trick to facilitate the nascent UK space launch industry. If they legislated to reduce gravity above UK airspace, reaching orbit would be so much simpler.
This really is a bit of a joke!
The number of welfare claimants claiming mental health conditions is expanding because of the parlous state of NHS mental health services.
When I was a teenager, mental health services within the NHS were, if not absolutely perfect, at least were available and working properly. I know a number of people today who have or have had mental health problems, who were either completely unable to access any sort of mental health care or were offered such inappropriate care that it was useless.
This is not criticism of the people providing the care - generally they are doing their best with hopelessly inadequate resources. However, it is commonly the case that people who could get back to work need a minimum of care to enable them to do that and slashing benefits will only drive them to self-harm or addiction to illegal substances rather than 'helping' them back into work and mainstream society.
Having lived in 6 different countries, I can comment on the standard of healthcare in quite a few places.
France - absolutely 1st class universal healthcare and very inexpensive
Belgium - absolutely 1st class universal healthcare and very inexpensive
Netherlands - absolutely 1st class universal healthcare and very inexpensive but exactly like the USA, totally private but insurers are very restricted in terms of what they can exclude and what they can charge.
Luxembourg - absolutely 1st class universal healthcare and very inexpensive. No significant wait times except for non-urgent MRI scans.
UK - absolutely 1st class universal healthcare and generally free of charge BUT there can be difficulties in some areas getting on a Family doctor's books. Waiting times to see specialists can be very lengthy!
...and there are no dogs in hot dogs - theoretically
Having lived through that era, I can confidently say that it wasn't the paisley shirts or liquid light shows that did the business, it was the fact that the members of the bands in question were dropping huge doses of high strength LSD on a daily basis!
In country areas in Luxembourg (and maybe other European countries) it is usual to thank the bus driver when you alight from the bus deep within the Luxembourg countryside.
A 'thank-you is well merited in Luxembourg as all public transport, trains, trams and buses, is completely free in that country. The idea was to try to reduce Luxembourg City's notorious rush-hour traffic jams by encouraging people to commute to work by public transport rather than by private car. To some extent, it has succeeded

Atheist; loathe almost all religions and pity the people deluded enough to follow them. I make exceptions for Buddhism as it isn't really a religion in the strictest sense of the word as it doesn't postulate the existence of any god, and Jainism which is the epitome of peace.
For anyone who is interested, my header photo is of the most stupendous sunset I have ever seen. On the right is the waterfront of Vientiane, the capital of Laos, on the left is Thailand and in the middle, acting as the border between the two countries is the mighty Mekong river.
