Yes, the UK is hostile to foreigners…

But at least we look after our own

Oh wait…

(Spoiler: look low, very very low)

It's a sobering thought that it's cheaper, at £400,000 a pop, to send Matt Hancock to shag kangaroos in Australia than it is to illegally send one refugee to Rwanda.

🇫🇷 London has lost the crown of biggest European stock market to Paris.

🇬🇧 It’s another symbolic sign of Britain’s shrinking place in the wake of Brexit, and the continental rivals that will step into position.

Hunt says everybody must pay more tax.
I don't think the poor should pay more tax, just the rich.

RT if you agree.

It may be a bit spooky (and possibly weird) to stand in a pitch dark and freezing graveyard but sometines it's worth it.

BREXIT is dead. Braindead to be exact, but is on life support and will be kept on life support for years as it’s authors just can’t let go… They fantasise that it will recover and excel…But we are picking up the bill for keeping this cadaver “alive”.

Trumps are little more than a thuggish mafia clan who can only survive by threats of violence.

America needs to get rid.

the argument against PR is that it would fill the HoC with small party's and there would be no proper majority. WRONG - they would have to learn to compromise and work together, extremists would have to explain their position in the cold light of Democracy.
The status quo isn't working and the two main party's are loath to let go of their privilege so it's up to the people to force a change and the quicker the better.
The only nations in Europe with FPTP are the UK and Belarus,

Good to see the Euro has crept up past parity with the US$. My mid-market ticker says it stands at $1.0358 right now.

Also glad to see the £ sterling sagging again against the Euro

Brexit: Here's THE catalogue of damage

Can I introduce you all to the Davis Downside Dossier (DDD) - maintained by @YorkshireBylines...

In 2016, David Davis infamously said there'd be "no downside to Brexit at all, and considerable upsides”.

So the team at Yorkshire #Bylines has kept all the receipts of #Brexit downsides - each item hyperlinked to a press article on an aspect of damage. Currently standing at >800 downsides, it's a rolling tally.

Peruse the DDD here --> yorkshirebylines.co.uk/regular

Brexit making us poorer

As they shake their heads woefully at the economic hellscape, wringing their hands and telling us they have no choice but to make us all pay in our public services and our taxes….
Can we bear these numbers in mind and never let them forget how catastrophically they’ve failed us?
(Private Eye)

(And of course, we’ve lost far more than just money….)

I imagine one of the reasons people cling to their hates so stubbornly is because they sense, once hate is gone, they will be forced to deal with pain. - James A. Baldwin #quote
