This is absurd. Woman goes into early labor, goes to an in-network hospital, but the doctors worked for an out of network hospital? So they parents are on the hook for $12K? RIDICULOUS.
Please shut up forever about how cool it is to "shop for your healthcare" LITERALLY NO ONE WANTS TO DO THAT. This is "shopping for your healthcare": being wheeled into the ER and having to check to make sure EVERY PERSON is in your network. Completely impractical and ridiculous.
@EugeneMcParland Twitter currently is allowing the Wagner Group to post a recruitment ad for Americans to go and fight for Wagner in Russia. Wagner commits war crimes in Ukraine. Throws bodies at the fight. Can you let your bigger following know please?

Did Richard Sharp give instructions that the Beeb news website lead on a Johnson story that came out of the same drawer as his ‘Brussels bans salt and vinegar crisps’ type stories?

This sudden Putin revelation has all the hallmarks of a pre-emptive strike at a massive Boris Johnson book deal. File it under "fiction". https://twitter.com/campbellclaret/status/1619949872928497665

Due to the fact that Johnson is a renowned liar, I find his claim about Putin threatening to kill him with a missile hard to believe.
No one can back up the claim and I get the impression that Johnson is using it as another attempt to fuel his misguided self belief that he is a brave statesman, who is putting himself on the front line for the sake of the country.
Everything he says is said to try to benefit himself and the public's perception of him.

Countless of people are having to flee because of the climate crisis. The time to act is now. We need to get informed, speak up on climate justice and migrant justice, and support vital organizations like IOM. The Greta Thunberg Foundation supports their important work with people displaced by the climate crisis in Pakistan & Somalia.
IOM is helping people to find a way to stay, adapt and move when there is no other option. You can also support IOM here: https://t.co/dCeTmVQryX

The problem Sunak has that it only looks like decisive action if you sack the bastard the moment the story sees the light of day - doing it days or weeks later makes you look weak - like you have been cornered and been forced to do something you didn't want to do. In this case I'm absolutely sure that is the truth!

For anyone who is interested, my header photo is of the most stupendous sunset I have ever seen. On the right is the waterfront of Vientiane, the capital of Laos, on the left is Thailand and in the middle, acting as the border between the two countries is the mighty Mekong river.
