When a uterus is more heavily regulated than an assault weapon, that’s when you know it’s a war on women.

@ChrisMayLA6 "Now clear" is doing some heavy lifting there - it was *always* clear

It was apparent that clarity and facts were unimportant after that historic "we're tired of experts" comment.

We're living in the stupidest timeline. I just hope I win the lottery or die before it plays out to its conclusion at this point.

Without googling it, can you name another person who has been charged with 78 or more felonies? #trivia

Bernie Madoff was charged with 11.

John Gotti was charged with 13.

Al Capone was charged with 23.

What is it about Americans that they seem completely unable to comprehend this?

My latest album is called Tilkkutäkki. It consists of 15 tracks. There's neoclassical pieces, jazz tracks, minimalistic compositions, generative music; in other words, it is a free expression of my musical mind, whatever direction it takes. It would make me happy to hear the impression of the listeners.

The album is here:

It can be downloaded for free, or for a coffee or, if you prefer, for a Steins;Gate bass. Your choice.

The model for action on climate-ecological breakdown I keep thinking of is not lockdown, but the 'war economy' in the UK in the 1940s: curtailing unnecessary production and services, redirecting resources and labour not to 'the war effort' but to combating climate change - making and fitting insulation for buildings, replacing fossil fuel heating systems, re-engineering public transport, etc - even 'dig for victory' - in wartime people used every bit of garden and waste land to grow food - now it would be rewilding, planting trees, or, indeed, good organic fruit and vegetables...

But the point is that the 'war economy' model shows it could actually be done.

I can’t imagine millions of people logging in and seeing a child abuse video but after the account responsible is banned, the site owner reinstates the account because he deleted the photos.

The standard procedure should be reporting this to NCMEC not reinstating the account because it’s one of your right wing buddies.

I’m honestly disturbed just thinking about the whole thing. This guy needs an intervention and serious help.

Just like the Antarctic sea ice graphs and the North Atlantic ocean temperature graphs — both of which you've probably seen — the graph below is almost unbelievably stunning and ominous.

What you have here are the top 30 hottest months ever recorded. The last one shown is this month, July of 2023, and it's WAY above any of the others.

A global temperature rise of .32°C in a single month doesn't even seem like it should be possible. But that's what is happening. That's the dire new world we're living in.

🚨 This is a climate emergency.🚨

The #NigelFarage Q. put in stark terms, by Ben Jamal:

'Conservative government claims that they’re taking action now on behalf of Nigel Farage because of an issue of principle begs a question of why was that not applied & why have you not taken action or even raised a murmur when this has occurred to a whole range of other groups whose political view you don’t share?'

We all know why really: the #Tories are a bunch of self-serving #hypocrites running scared of Farage

That's right mate - all those Saudi, Chinese and Russian millionaires. You know, the ones that fund your "news" channel.
