Atheist; loathe almost all religions and pity the people deluded enough to follow them. I make exceptions for Buddhism as it isn't really a religion in the strictest sense of the word as it doesn't postulate the existence of any god, and Jainism which is the epitome of peace.
For anyone who is interested, my header photo is of the most stupendous sunset I have ever seen. On the right is the waterfront of Vientiane, the capital of Laos, on the left is Thailand and in the middle, acting as the border between the two countries is the mighty Mekong river.

a EU citizen's initiative to tax the rich more so that we can take more action against global warming and social inequalities.
It currently has 100k+ total votes, but we need a lot more to make it work. France already has 130% of the needed votes (76k out of 55k), but e.g the netherlands only 2% (400 out of 20k).
I just voted as dutch citizen, but if you know anyone that would also be interested in this, please do refer them to the website!

As everyone possessed of a functioning brain cell knows, the 'small boats crisis' is entirely the fault of the fucking tory scum.
There is no legal route to access asylum in the UK for the overwhelming majority of refugees! Why do they want to come to the UK, one might ask - it is party because the British government and civil service couldn't organize an orgy in a brothel so it is ridiculously easy to disappear and work on the black in Britain, but also because English is the world's most popular 2nd language which gives most people who want to settle in the UK an advantage over settling in say France or Germany!

@ChrisMayLA6 @TCatInReality I have said this many times. This destruction of the NHS began in the 70’s, I witnessed it first hand. The Torys never play a short game. What we see now is the culmination of planning since 1948. The damage may be irreversible, but we have to fight for the survival of the NHS. Our lives literally depend on it.

We asked NASA why they were so determined to travel through space.
They replied that travelling through anything else damaged the front of the rockets.
What I do not understand is why the filthy feckin lying scumbags who were executives and senior managers at the Post Office and Fujitsu who KNEW full well that there were massive problems with the Horizon system, have not been prosecuted - they should be serving LONG prison sentences!
