Those occasional weeks of Hashimotos-related arthralgia that are so bad it’s like random sets of my joints are being yanked apart and twisted sound, even after all of the OTC painkillers I can take - but I power through work and the gym anyway so nobody thinks it’s a big deal. And my doctor is a putz who thinks anyone who isn’t a big tough guy is exaggerating about pain anyway.

The have you tried yoga crowd is up in my mentions, thank you but

I have,
I have gone to yoga teacher school
I eat low carb
I have a sauna in my house
I have found and rejected multiple gods

Anyway, just trying to normalize talking about this stuff.

@hacks4pancakes Unfortuately, pain is a very personal thing, and that 1-10 scale is worthless for anthing more than explaining changes in your personal pain. One last useless comment - pain is just a reminder that you are still alive
