The theme of this year's WCD is "Close the care gap". It celebrates progress that enables more people to seek and receive the care they need and deserve. It provides momentum to fuel the fight for fairness.

WCD is a global initiative led by http://UICC.org. UICC aims to build stronger alliances and innovative new collaborations, mobilise friends, family, coworkers and communities to help close the cancer care gap for a cancer-free world.
