Mum shared this to me and said "today's Hong Kong isn't what I used to know anymore".
We millennials might have endured people from her generation, herself included, calling us selfish and weak, but there comes a time when I can tell that she knew her opinion was wrong. And it hurts so much for her that, instead of telling her "who's having it rough now", I forgive her.
