@mngrif Funny you say that you feel alone - that's Sydney in particular! I felt the same living there for 15 years. Then my family moved to South Australia and my mum, knowing nobody there, made friends with all her neighbours within a month and has been throwing house parties at least once per month since.

I think cities like Sydney, London, Hong Kong etc are all ironic like that.
