Holy crap today was about 17 days long and this is the first time I've had time to look at the news and wtf is happening with anti-satellite stuff?! If a big enough piece of space junk hits a Starlink satellite, every satellite currently in low Earth orbit is going to become debris. Anti-satellite nuclear weapons seem like a little bit of overkill?

@sundogplanets Look up Starfish Prime. A nuclear explosion in LEO would destroy every satellite in LEO and power grids all over the planet. It's a civilization ender that would trigger a full nuclear exchange.
