Yesterday, Rep. Santos’s former campaign treasurer pleaded guilty to several charges of conspiracy & fraud. One instance was a mystery $500k that Santos’s campaign reported he had lent from his personal finances. Except, Santos didn’t seem to have had enough money to do so. Someone was getting scammed, but it was unclear who. I think that the biggest reason I believe that we need universal basic income is so that people always have an out. A bad relationship, a bad job, a bad situation, even discovering you've overrotated on something that's turning into a scam or a cult. You should always be able to walk away.

The only problem with the NFT market collapsing is I never got around to minting a few NFTs and making silly amounts of money off crypto douches.
