The Atlantic has a scare piece today that includes : "The conservative majority on the Supreme Court today is similarly blinded by a commitment to liberty" and blames the party formed to abolish Slavery for Slavery, the party that most voted for civil rights for the lack thereof, the party that did not write the Jim Crow laws for those laws.

History isn't so clean that every bad thing was done by "them" and this log article is a long partisan misrepresentation of history.
