I want a runtime kill filter on @thehill -- even with the dupe catching there was way too much stuff getting through about Trump+NFL+kneeling that not only isn't news, but has no provable bearing on politics whatsoever, other than generating clix

@SecondJon @thehill The one that pisses me off right now is the whole Trump+Kaepernick+NFL+kneeling. That's why I'm working on having the bot answer commands to just drop tweets in a filter list + regexp
@SecondJon @thehill I'll make it transparent enough to have the bot toot out when I update the "Thou Shalt Not Tweet" list. The Hill works a bit differently than Politico that it has a dedicated staff but most of the content is actually internet-op-eds from curated contributors. Some of it is good but they go on annoying spam streaks
@SecondJon @thehill The worst streak of theirs was the whole Adam Rippon - I'm not gonna meet Mike Pence/Wait, why won't Mike Pence meet with me? schtick... that was nearly 1,000 tweets of nothing
@SecondJon @thehill 90% of the dupes are killed but they're still posting on and on about the same topic on a streak, which isn't exact duplicate tweeting, but it's just as irritating
