@eric i guess it's overriding the keystrokes and displaying its own message instead of letting the browser show the inspect element or view source menus

@arh @eric Web standards shouldn't permit overriding standard browser keybinding without asking user for that. Web browser should ask for permission, just like it ask for access to geolocation: "this site want to override default keybindings", then list which exactly it wants to override (F12, c-s-i, c-w etc.), and options "allow once", " allow always", "never allow". The same applies to disabling right-click.
