i was thinking speaking English all the time here, but i guess well just be myself. 🌏
@design_RG
thank you. there are so many Japanese on the Federated timeline, every time I was like. god, I wish I knew what they talking about. frankly, I like to find Chinese language user here but it depends on the person. I remember I used to saw some user said to get the translate function into mastodon. perhaps that would be helpful. @freemo

@Sphinx @freemo You are welcome.
Yeah, the Translate button on post in twitter is something I miss. Worked amazingly well for Japanese posts I was curious about, and able to reply to after reading translation.
But to have that in Mastodon would have to come from the development team, I imagine. (not an add on or plugin)

@Sphinx English all the time will likely get you more engagment. But other than that speak what makes you happy :)
@freemo thanks, I like this place more and more 😄
@Sphinx I'm very happy to hear that!
@Sphinx I think if you want to use a different language, and might get responses from here or from other instances, that would be ok.
Seen a lot of people posting in Indian character sets, not sure which language it is, but there's lots of Japanese and Chinese posts on the Federated feed too.
