my laptop only has VGA port. connect to a TV screen using VGA convert to HDMI, doesn't work. but if only using VGA to VGA to connect TV it works.
the HDMI converter is damaged?🤔 or other reasons

i didn't find other device to test yet, so far using VGA cable, it's good.
@Sphinx you do you see any product id... I am an it specialist and i alot of cases you can usually find more by the hardare product id or numbers or packaing
@Sphinx I would go for testing devices with HDMI input. If it works, maybe the problem is your HDMI input instead of the adapter

both this TV or HDMI converter. one of them have problem. i will try a different TV next time, or different HDMI converter. i don't want buy a new one before i find out what's the issue is. 😀
