Telegram have added custom notification sounds to their Android app 😍😍 I have longing for this feature since I started using Telegram maybe 5 years ago.
I really hope they have added the same feature to the desktop client because this feature is a very asked feature for a very long time! But it should because they add almost the same updates for all devices 😊
So far, no such update to Telegram Desktop 😞
May I ask do you have a lot of people using telegram around you?
I don't know about signal, but telegram is like a big chat room they need add contact request and prove function to avoid harassment.
And hopefully they will add the function you wanted on desktop soon 😊

Yeah, Telegram are very popular in general compared to Signal. I love Telegram compared to Signal because Telegram have better privacy features (for an example, letting people add you via a username).
