Here here! At the federal level there are 435 reps and 100 senators. About 500 of them are short term, unremarkable, and more or less there to represent their constituents. 30 of them get the bulk of the media attention because they are party leaders or loud, partisan, and/or controversial. Then there’s the handful of perverts, crooks and frauds whose behavior prejudices the general public to believe everyone is like them. Balance indeed!!
