Well. I feel quite frustrated that I can't seem to get thru to white people why some POC, especially folks from Black Twitter, feel stifled by CWs. I also can't speak for them! I'm a 47 year old white woman. I've tried not to overstep.
Mastodon desperately needs diversity, but the culture in place is extremely hostile towards it on many instances. I'm queer so I can function in that capacity but there's plenty of queer white people here.
My friend @drskyskull called Mastodon the nice, white, gated suburbs and he's not wrong.

They don't get that -none of it does- and -that's the point.-
