I keep seeing posts by non-Black people thay say they learned a lot from #BlackTwitter.

Frankly, it gives me shades of #ChappellesShow. Remember how we used to laugh so hard at the skits, but look askance at non-Blacks laughing because the jokes were so personal that they could mean something totally different to even lightly racist ears?

I'm here because I'd like a place to convene, not entertain. So, if you're lurking, say something. We want to learn from you, too.
