Swallow skimming the water back in the middle of the summer.

Technically, it's a Barn Swallow, Hirundo rustica, but given we commonly only see this species and only rarely other swallows, they're generally called "swallows" in the UK.

Even in Yorkshire, no one says 'barn' to mean 'going' anymore. Or 'Laith' to mean 'barn' either.
