@sciencebase Not so much a 'stoop' as a 'flop'.
@sciencebase They could learn from cats how to look like they meant to make a cods of it afterwards. Ours was good at that with butterflies she missed completely.
@SteelFolk It was twisting and turning as it went, all very quickly, I'm sure there's definite stoop energy in there, but Peregrines kill through the sheet brute force of hammering into their prey, owls hack with talons and peck with beak
