@sciencebase I think it is like a Ford Fairlane coupe.
@sciencebase What sort of car is in the pic, does it tell you or has it made it up?
@sciencebase Things do change but they hadn't back then. The only tag we had was OAP!
@sciencebase At least it doesn't talk about pension plans to bemused 16 year olds, like the old man I got.
@sciencebase They are what I would expect and no. Avoid alcohol will come next.

@sciencebase You've got the Humphey Appleby version?
@sciencebase And no puerile mention of chilli wind, either!
@sciencebase Disturbing indeed.
@sciencebase Have you seen this of one of the twins? Either Mona or Lisa. I don't know if it is software or paint but it gives some ideas.
@sco7sbhoy Some smiths seemed to know it was a good trick to add something to the Ag before casting. It doesn't always look natural, but how they found out is what fascinates me.
@sco7sbhoy Jut curious-Have you got an analysis of the metal at all? It does look a good casting and they're usually hard to get with a pure metal.

@yayKM It would be really, really heavy water.
@sciencebase Some kinds of steel rails can do it too, just sitting in stock. Loads of stored energy.
@sciencebase These were those toughened water glasses that are so full of residual stress that they carry on cracking for an hour if you drop them.
@sciencebase There weren't licensed curry holes when I was at Uni but there was a blind eye to your own. Lager too gassy from bottles but dog poured in small water glasses seemed natural.
