Last year my apple tree saplings were badly damaged in the winter storms. I've got hedging cuttings in which will eventually help protect them to some extent, but I came up with this as an interim solution. I was worried #StormIsha might blow the whole thing over and take the tree right out, but I've just done early torchlight check, and they appear to have survived the night
