just saw a kickstarter ad that said “rpg players, dont draw maps ever again!” that radically misunderstands one of the core appeals of rpgs
@lizardmentsh I used to make maps without RPGs.
I'd then model them on a piece of wood with play playdough, or some modeling clay and make my own little islands or whatnot. I spent hours doing that, and just imagining the fantasy world I'd created.
