Well yesterday I went outside in my underwear for nothing. They said on the 9PM news it was going down to 26⁰ and I remembered I had a case of diet soda in the car. I went running out to get it and it only went to 28⁰. I think it could have survived inside the car.
For those not aware, diet soda starts to freeze at 32⁰ because no sugar. But nothing freezes instantaneously. Usually if they say 26⁰ it's only there for an hour before it starts warming.
