Ukrainians now hate Russia so much, they want to be rid of all things Russian.
In a letter, the Ministry of Culture requested that the National Academy remove Pyotr Tchaikovsky's name, as his activities had no connection to the Academy and he identified himself as a native Russian. Additionally, they stated that the Russian composer is a well-known Russian cultural figure.
