Uklon has launched a new Inclusive car class, allowing passengers who use wheelchairs to travel more freely. To order an adapted car, customers need to enter their desired route in the Uklon app and select the Inclusive class. These cars are equipped with a hydraulic or mechanical lift, a ramp, special seat belts and fasteners for fixing a wheelchair. Drivers have been trained to communicate and interact with people with musculoskeletal disorders. The cost of an Inclusive car ride is 30% less than the standard fare and is currently available in Kyiv and its suburbs within a radius of 20 km. The project is planned to expand its geography in the future. The initiative is being supported by Mastercard and MacPaw, who have allocated funds for the purchase of the first specialized cars, as well as the Ukrainian Veterans Fund of the Ministry of Veterans and the Office of the First Lady.
