In Avdiivka, civilians are refusing to evacuate and are hiding their children in order to prevent them from being taken away. There are currently around 8 children still in the city, which is constantly under attack. The head of the city administration has reported that people are even going to extreme lengths to avoid leaving, such as claiming that their children are staying with relatives who do not have phones. Recently, a 5-month-old child passed away in Avdiivka. His parents, who had refused to leave the city, are now searching for a new place to live.
