A person who is a fan of Russia will be put on trial for disseminating false information and defending the occupiers. According to the investigation, between April and May 2022, the accused used his own account on a social media platform that is banned in Ukraine to send out text messages and images to an unlimited number of users that defended Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine. In his posts, the suspect praised and promoted the actions of the occupying country, spread Russian misinformation, and blamed Ukrainians for everything. He also insulted and negatively portrayed government officials and the military. During the search of the suspect's residence, law enforcement officers found a cell phone with evidence of illegal activity. The suspect is currently in custody.
