As of August 4th, 2023, the Russian Federation's strategic aviation is prepared to carry out combat operations. Missile and aircraft stockpiles in the Western and Northern regions of Russia are continuing to increase. At the Olenya airfield, 10 Tu-95ms and 34 X-101/555 missiles are ready for use. Additionally, at airfields around Ukraine, 2 Tu-95MS and 4 X-101/555 missiles are deployed at Engels, 1 x Tu-22m3 and 1 x X-101/555 missile are deployed at Dyagilevo, and 5 Tu-22m3 and 5 X-101/555 missiles are deployed at Shaykovka. In the far east of Russia, up to 28 Tu-95s are based at the Ukrainka airfield, which do not pose a threat to Ukraine, some of which are used for patrolling in the Pacific region.
