President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has said that his country does not need to join the Union State of Russia and Belarus, and that it does not need nuclear weapons either.

"The other day, Lukashenko offered Kazakhstan to join the Union State. I appreciated his joke. I think there is no need for this, as there are other integration associations, first of all, the Eurasian Economic Union," he said.
