Kazakhstan's prosecutors office has reported cases of attempts to recruit local residents in the north of the country to join Russia's war against Ukraine on the side of the aggressor state. The National Security Committee of Kazakhstan has opened 10 criminal cases regarding the involvement of citizens of Kazakhstan in the conflict in Ukraine. It is unclear how the recruitment was conducted and if the organizers of the recruitment have been detained.
