On the night of July 11, 2023, the Russian invaders attacked Ukraine from the southeast with Iranian-made Shahed-136/131 attack drones. As a result of successful combat operations, the Air Force, in cooperation with the air defense of other components of the Defense Forces, destroyed 26 of the 28 kamikaze drones and one Zala reconnaissance drone. On July 10, the Air Force also destroyed an enemy helicopter, three Lancet attack UAVs, and four tactical reconnaissance drones. Additionally, the Air Force aviation has carried out more than 20 group air strikes on enemy positions over the current and previous days.
