The SBU detained a traitor who was spying for the enemy in Kherson
The security service exposed another agent of the Russian Federation, who helped the occupiers adjust the Russian air attacks on Kherson.
It was established that after the enemy shelling, the attacker recorded the locations of "arrivals" and their consequences, and then sent a corresponding "report" to the aggressor.
According to these data, the invaders could adjust their shelling on the critical, social and residential infrastructure of the regional center, as well as on the locations of Ukrainian troops.
This "activity" of the attacker allowed the occupiers to direct fire and obtain results about possible damage.
The invaders used multiple rocket launchers, barrel artillery and kamikaze drones to attack the city.
SBU employees established the identity of the correctional officer, searched for her and detained her in her own apartment.
According to the investigation, the Russian agent turned out to be a local resident who started working for the enemy on her own initiative in June of this year.
The stuntwoman "came out" to the administrator of one of the social networks and offered him her help in the war against Ukraine. Further communication was carried out using an anonymous chat in the messenger.
During the search of the detainee's residence, a mobile phone was found, which she used to correspond with the aggressor.
On the basis of the collected evidence, the investigators of the Security Service informed her of the suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (treason committed under martial law).
She is currently in custody. An investigation is ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the crime. The perpetrator faces life imprisonment.
Counter-subversive measures were carried out by SBU employees in the Kherson region under the procedural guidance of the Kherson specialized prosecutor's office in the field of defense of the Southern region.
