A quick end to the war in Ukraine is capitulation, and we don't want it to end that way. This was stated by the head of EU diplomacy Borrell.

"I know how to end the war quickly. If I stop supporting Ukraine, it will end with the capitulation of Ukrainians. Do we want the war to end this way? I think not. We cannot allow Putin to install a puppet government in Kyiv and have the Russian army on the Polish border."
